"Live On" is a social awareness movement which aims to take organ donation from an Act of Parliament to an act that embraces potential donors, their families and recipients in an uplifting bond of life. For donors, it is an expression of the renewed life that a donor can bestow on someone else, to recipients, it is the expression of hope fulfilled and to the families of donors, it is the possible comfort in their loss. The movement will also promote altruistic living organ transplantation.
MOH's past public education efforts have focused on explaining what are the rules and regulation of organ donation and the need for more organ donors to alleviate the long waiting time.
"Live On", with its new logo and tagline, is a long term public education programme that will go beyond educating the public about the Human Organ Transplant Act (HOTA) as it aims to build up societal consciousness and acceptance of organ donation as an acceptable, generous and act of goodness after one's death. The hope is that this would rally all Singaporeans to support and embrace organ donation as it is about kindness, compassion and life-giving.
Real life testimonies will be used as the focus of the Live On Movement - in advertisements, website and travelling exhibition.
The Live On Logo - Simple Words, Strong Meaning

Known simply as "Live On", this social awareness movement aims to capture the spirit of organ donation, and calls to mind the legacy of renewed life that a donor can leave behind. At the same time, it conveys a strong message on the promise and the sanctity of life - how we can all believe and support organ donation because it embraces hope, compassion and gives the ultimate gift of life to a fellow Singaporean in need.
The slogan "Live On" will be told through the true stories of individuals whose lives have been changed and dramatically improved because of the simple act of organ donation. They are now able again to enjoy the simple pleasures in life that others merely take for granted, like sharing a moment with their children, watching a sunrise, celebrating another birthday and impacting the lives of others because they have lived on.
The "Live On" icon – a bright yellow flower - is a symbol of Singaporeans' pledge of support for organ donation. It is filled with the hope of every citizen who wishes to show their support for organ donation, as well as inspire organ recipients to "Live On".
